The previous entry was necessarily more the history of the incident and less about specific prayer requests. I think the most obvious request is for the young Christian students involved. They have not believed for very long, but seem to be demonstrating the work of the Spirit in their lives.
We need to continue to pray for them as they learn more how to read and learn from the Word and grow in Christ. The authorities now know they are Christians, and these young believers could receive more trouble from there. Let's pray for them, the few lights shining bright in the darkness.
Father, we come to you on behalf of these young Dong brothers and sisters. They know so little, but they have experienced the beautiful saving and changing power of Christ as you are making them into a new creation. We ask that you would work in them as they read and study your word. Teach them how to worship with each other, to experience the presence of God. As they grow in you and shine your light, you will use them as lights to further spread your word among their friends.
