Don't forget to pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to preach about his secret plan—that Christ is also for you Gentiles. That is why I am here in chains. Pray that I will proclaim this mesage as clearly as I should.
We should devote prayer for Dong Christians as if they had written this verse to us. I do not know of any who are "in chains," but pressure from the authorities is a challenge they face. More important, we need to pray for opportunities to preach the gospel and for the clear proclamation of the message.
Father, we come to you in prayer for our Dong brothers and sisters. Some have gone out to share your good news and some face the local pressure of living in their home village among many unbelivers who are vocal against the gospel. For all situations, we ask that you would give them many opportunities to share the gospel with their family, friends, and neighbors. Give them the words they need to proclaim clearly the wonderful message of Christ in ways easily understood.
