Of the almost three million Dong, all but a couple hundred have never heard the good news from a believer. More than likely, many more have seen Christian materials, but the personal contact is still rare for most Dong people.
There are a few believers living among the Dong—foreigners, Chinese nationals, and Dong believers themselves—who have a desire to share the good news, and we need to pray for God to encourage and use them for his glory.
Father, we want to pray for the encouragement of our brothers and sisters that have daily contact with the Dong people. The Dong have so few opportunities to hear of the news of your saving grace, and we ask that you would provide opportunities for these believers and give them the words they need. Use these brothers and sisters to draw the Dong people out of the darkness into the wonderful light.
